Kauai United Way Holds 2010 Annual Meeting & Mahalo Celebration »»

A&B Foundation along with Kukui?ula Development Company demonstrated each or their interests in the social service health of our island at the Kauai United Way (KUW) Annual Meeting and Mahalo Celebration. The function, held at the Dukes Canoe Club at Kalapaki Beach was hosted by A&B Foundation and Kukui?ula Development Company. Nearly 130 people were on hand to celebrate Kauai United Way raising 95.1% of its 2009 Campaign Goal of $615,000.

A&B Foundation was represented by Tom Shigemoto, Suzette Kane and Trinette Kaui of A&B Properties; Gloria Girald, Roy Higa, Peter Kruse and George Matsuda of Kauai Commercial Company; Wayne Katayama and Joan Morita of Kauai Coffee Company; Dewayne Kong of Matson Navigation. A&B Foundation presented Kauai United Way with a check for $20,000 in support of its work on behalf of the social service programs provided by its 27 Participating Agencies.

Kukui?ula Development Company was represented by Darlene Yamase, Gini Kapali, Thad Bond, Arlan Chun, Gloria Bonilla, Morgan Lopez, Shelly Gerardo, Robert Miguel, Art Nehf and Scott Sato.
